    What we do

Everything growing on your property — one crew

From the weekly mow to a full backyard redesign — planned, planted and maintained by the same local team, on one schedule you'll actually see.

    The Parm's method

A yard that looks good in July is built in March.

Lawns don't get lucky. They get soil, timing and a crew that shows up in the right week — here's the quiet groundwork behind every yard we keep.

    01

    Soil before seed First visit

We test and read your soil before promising anything — because feeding the wrong lawn the right way is still wrong.

    02

    The sharp-edge habit

Edges cut clean every single visit. It's five extra minutes per yard — and it's the difference people notice from the street.

    03

    Right plant, right place

Sun, drainage and Carolina clay decide what thrives. We plant what will still look good in three summers, not just at checkout.

    04

    Water like it matters

Deep and rare beats shallow and daily. We tune irrigation zone by zone so roots grow down instead of giving up.

    05

    Leave it cleaner Every visit

Clippings blown off walks, gates latched, beds tidy. You should only ever notice we were there because the yard looks better.

    One seasonal price, in writing

You know the number for the whole season before we start — no surprise add-ons per visit.

    Licensed, insured & background-checked

The same familiar crew in your yard each week — people we'd send to our own mother's house.

    Happy-yard guarantee

If something we planted or built isn't right, we come back and make it right — that's the whole policy.

    Homeowner guides

Know your yard the way it knows itself.

Short, honest answers to the questions every homeowner asks, no jargon, no upsell.

Why does my lawn look tired by midsummer?

Usually the trio, cut too short, watered too shallow, fed at the wrong moment. Short grass exposes soil to the sun, daily sprinkles teach roots to stay near the surface, and summer feeding pushes growth exactly when the lawn wants to rest.

Taller mowing, deep and rare watering, and season-true feeding turn most tired lawns around in one cycle.

What is wrong with a little standing water?

It drowns roots, breeds mosquitoes and finds foundations. Puddles that outstay the morning are a grading message, not a weather anecdote.

Swales, drains or a rain garden give water somewhere better to be, and beds stop drowning in their own irrigation.

When is the right time to plant?

When roots get a head start, in most climates that means fall for trees and shrubs, soil still warm, air already kind, and spring for the tender rest.

Planting into the teeth of summer is possible with discipline, but the calendar-smart yard simply establishes better.

    Rooted in the Triangle

    Good to know

    Questions, answered

Do I have to sign a long contract?+
No. Weekly service runs season to season and you can pause or stop with two weeks' notice. We'd rather earn the yard every month than lock you into anything — most customers stay for years anyway.
What happens when it rains on my service day?+
We shift your visit to the next dry slot and text you before you have to ask. Wet mowing rips turf and compacts soil — skipping a soggy day is us protecting your lawn, not skipping work.
Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?+
Yes. We follow label re-entry times exactly, flag every treated lawn, and text you the all-clear window. If you prefer a fully organic feeding program, we offer one — just ask for it on the walkthrough.
How fast will my lawn actually look better?+
Mowing and edges: the first visit. Thickness and color: one full season, because the real gains come from feeding, aeration and overseeding done in the right weeks. We'll tell you honestly what your lawn can reach and by when.
Do I need to be home for visits?+
No. Most of our route customers are at work — we come on your scheduled day, latch the gate, and leave the yard cleaner than we found it. For quotes we just need one walkthrough, and even that can happen while you're out.
Why does everyone talk about fall aeration and overseeding?+
Because Carolina fescue thins out every summer — fall is the one window where seed, soil and weather line up to rebuild it. It's the highest-impact thing a Triangle lawn gets all year, and it books out fast.
    How does billing work?+
One clear seasonal price, split into flat monthly invoices — no per-visit surprises, no fuel add-ons. Projects like patios or new beds are quoted separately in writing before any work starts.
